Sharp image. You pulled off some lovely details in the difficult regions such as the lower side of the abdomen. Find the bright strip of OOF region on the left a bit distracting but we often have to take what nature offers.

Fantastic! Love the angle and the composition. Details are sharp and very nice! Is that a dew drop that his front foot is sitting in? That's fantastic!

You seems to have a way with flies, no offense :)

Excellent details and colors. Good frame placement too.

Hey Thomas,
Very well done indeed for the reasons mentioned. I love the diagonal placement and the colors and details are fantastic. Just enough DOF in my opinion to make this really work.

Thanks everyone!
Julie,I think its a drop from a previous short rainfall.

WOW! My kind of shot. Great detail, focus, & exposure. BTW what Julie thought was rain is the insect's pulvillus ("pad" in English) which works like a suction cup, so they can land on odd surfaces, even upside down.
