Nice framing and composition.
I might add a small amount of additional contrast.
The grass gradation from green to gold is striking. To protect that color flow, perhaps crop the thin dark line at top.
Excellent capture of a beautiful creature!

Bill,

Unfortunately I only really noticed the dark strip when I posted.

In general both saturation and contrast is my achiles heel, whist I like adding saturation it can sometimes result in colours that are not entirely natural, so I always try to err on the mellow side.

Ken, excellent exposure on the little guy, and sharp with good detail. Colours look fine to me. I would maybe crop a bit from the top. I feel that would strengthen an already great comp.

Very nice as presented although I agree on cropping the thi line on top. The colors look fine to me too. Well done!

Great shot and ditto the colours looks fine. I would also take a tad of the top. A super image

Ken,
This is a lovely image. I won't increase the saturation. I agree with Bill regarding the thin line at the top. I am wondering about the Techs. Why ISO 800, f5 and 1/5000? You were using a bean bag, so I don't think you needed such a higher shutter speed.

Cheers,
