When you own a Duc you inherit a piece of "emotion". This was (I have since moved on ... err to something else very soon) my Ducati 996sps. Full blown track machine, carbon fibre body work, 60mm diameter titanium headers and race exhaust system with matching pair of Akrapovic end cans. Marchisini wheels , blah, blah blah ... Anyways this was my main hobby before photography took over. Did a few clubman races and a few broken bones and road rash to show for it. Highest spot was a third placing in a local race and nothing else. It was good them days.

Sweet ride Liew !!! .... if you got a third you were mixing it up :) Big difference between circulating and going for a spot ... at least you were not in the meatgrinder class (600cc)

Nice Phil, beautiful bike! I never got into racing, but did 25 years of desert riding to get my bangs and scrapes...

Nice Phil. Nothing like them. Never ridden one. Would love to get my hands on a vintage desmo single or one of the classic 750 v-twins. I have been told only the Italians understood handling better than the British, both essentially being steerable with your knees.

Yo all, the Dukes are all about feedback that the Jap in line fours do not seem to convey - that's for me not all though. I had a Gixxer-750 once before and now doing time on the track with a mate's Kwacker. Regardless, I do enjoy 2 wheels more than 4 any time.
