This little girl kept following us down a trail leading to a salt marsh. She wouldn't come out into the open but she was very nosy so I snapped a few pictures. I know it's a bit busy and I cut off some of her "virtual" body but I love the way she was starring at me in this one. Thanks for looking.

I don't mind the cut "virtual body" in this case, and I would crop even further to eliminate the legs peeking through the foliage at bottom. I would also crop about half the OOF stuff at right (this would lessen its overwhelming presence in the frame), and then also crop a bit at to eliminate the dry twigs up there. I like the curious angled head :-)

I like the alert pose and details. The branch in the lower right is a bit distracting and I would increase contrast a few points and wish for a bit more eye contact.

A different but interesting COMP. You did a good job of choosing your perspective.

Thanks for all the replies. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get some better opportunities.

Cute story. She is really fat. Maybe she was following you hoping to lay her eggs in your nest!
