Beautiful flight pose with great eye contact Judy! I would run a little Shadows/Highlights to bring out some detail in the far wing. And I might try to darken the light area of the BG just a bit.

Judy:

A beauty. I can't help but feel like he is smiling!

Great angle in the frame, comp. I do agree with Doug about the light area in the background. The image is so nice, I think that tweak would really be icing on the cake.

Cheers

Judy:

Tweaks ala Dougs recommendations. I think it makes the bird command more attention.

Hey Judy this one is outstanding, I love it. The original works perfect in my opinion but I think that it is much better with th esuggestions that Doug made. Glad to see that you keept a lot of room around the bird because the BG is superb. Very good job

Stunning light, details and colour captured in this Judy. Pin sharp, and he really pops from the BG so well. Congrats on an outstanding image.

Maybe I'm going against the grain here but I like the original better ... maybe the lighter underwing doesn't look as natural to me?

Great flight position and love that bg !!! One Sweet image either way !!! One of my favorite form this species !!!

Beautiful flight image. Maybe repost is slightly better. I see some less successful PS cloning in the left bottom corner ;) Maybe some vegetation which washed the far wing tip away?
