This will be my last f32 before this weekend. Boy is it going to be tough.....but I have a few ideas. Another of the flowers I bought from the garden center. Bright overcast light through window....indoors with pot top giving bounce on the underside and a silver reflector adding the last bit on the backside. Canon 1D Marklll with the sigma 180mm macro mounted on tripod, natural light, ISO 400 for 1/6 sec. at f32.
Black matboard BG.

Another beauty, again with the great details and lighting. Well done.

Roman,

It does not get any better than this. I agree with Mike. It's all about seeing and controlling the light.
You got the technique down IMO....

Roman, you got these at a garden center this early in the year? Wow! I've never seen grown dahlias like these at any local garden center. They are gorgeous and you are making them into masterpieces.

Now get ready...'cause f3.2 is in your future!!!

Its a beautiful picture and well lit, very sharp.
I may try to see it by adding more canvas to the top and bottom.
