I captured this one on Monday. I had been wanting a pleasant image of a bald eagle on a mossy branch ever since I moved to the west coast. So even though this image is far from perfection I was happy to get it.

You did a fine job making this image, Glenn. Good work using fill flash to balance out the side light, gives a bit of a "rim light" look which is nice. I think for the situation and the light you were working with, this is about as good as you can get.

Very nice Glenn. I like the perch, the look. It doesn't look like there is much detail though. Did you run NR on the whole image?

Great perch, pose and BG. I might raise the color temperature a tiny bit. The whites have a very slight blue cast.
