Taken today on a very overcast morning. Mrs. Mallard has only one of her original six ducklings left -- kinda sad. I watched a Black-crowned Night-heron pick off ducklings at this location last year, so I'm guessing that may have happened here. However, I did not witness it this time. The image is heavily cropped.

Wendell, beautiful image! I love the way you got two good head angles and eye contact from both. The water in front is lovely and I like the way it changes behind the birds. Might want to sharpen up the eye on mom a bit and add some overall saturation. Nicely done!

This is lovely, Wendell. Great HA's and water has such a gorgeous silvery sheen. Congrats!
