This is the photomontage of the American Goldfinch abstract series.

The original image shown was taken years ago at Horicon NWR in Wisconsin. The original slide is very good. However, I had a scan made that was less than perfect. As noted by the critics the transformation was acceptable however, in the abstract form. Just goes to show what you can create when the juices flow and the mind is open to new worlds.

All images were created directly from the original image through the filters in Photo Elements Ver 2 and 4.

Mark, Excellent use of the filters and your creative vision! I like them all but my favorite is the bottom right. Thankyou for posting this -it really helps us all to see the transformations!!
