I blurred the BG and desaturated (not all the way) most of the image and over saturated the "red"--trying to do
low angle -3-D sort of look. Taken on the Texas Gulf Coast a few days ago. It was overcast, gray, and windy.

Hi Kathy - love the action and the pose - fish with visible eyes is a big bonus. I might increase the blacks a little - look a little washed out and maybe a slight increase in contrast - looks a tad flat.
Nice work :)

Kathy, great action shot. Like the motion effect from the wind. As Lance I think contrast should have to be increased in the egret, though be aware that will also increase the noise under the right wing.
Anyway, amazing!

Hi Kathy,
I like the capture and the action here...agree with Mr. Peters on increasing the saturation and the contrast a wee bit...aside from this, you did well...:) looking forward to your next one...

Hi Kathy Love the action and If anything give it more room !!!
Not sure about the base exposure... wasn't listed. Might be under and image lighten in PS? I like how well the face looks and the sharp eyes !!! Action over the top carries this one Well done !!!!
