First off, apologies for not being on here for a long time...

Thought I would take some shots of Sparrows in the garden. These little fellows are always overlooked.

Canon 1D MK3 EF500 + 1.4x, ISO400 1/800sec at f7.1, Tripod, slight crop

Exposure, sharpness, and BG are all perfect. Perch is not ideal, as is the steepish angle. As posted I would crop about half of the empty space at right - this would balance the comp nicely as there just too much room behind the head. You may want to clone out the lone stray feather on the left shoulder (our right). I do like the swept feathers on the other side, and the toes sticking out with the little shadows beneath :-)
