Very handsome species, thanks for sharing it.

Very nice perch and BG. The plant is a plus.
Pose and eye contact are great. I am not familiar with this species, does it has that bluish cast on the head? or is the action of light?

Great job anyways.

Hi Jeff,
Beautiful bird, soft light and clean BG. I would add some canvas to the right if you have it just to get the bird a little of center.

Hey Jeff,

Very nice and diffused light. The colors are on the money and with a very nice BG. Composition works for me very well!

Lovely colours, light and detail in this. I like the diagonal perch, with the inclusion of a bit of foliage.

Foliage, color in the perch and the rim lighting make it for me.

We are having an awful migration here... JB has been dead from what I have been told so it's a good thing you haven't ventured down

Love the COMP and the setting. There seems to be too much blue in the blacks.

As for poor migration I just got back from Pelee--6 days and I photographed only Yellow Warbler despite making several five mile death walks.

I once had a monster wave day at JBRW on something like May 29th or 30ieth...
