Great eye contact and a nice meal in the talons. Super sharpness. I would have exposed a little further to the right to get better detail in the darks; your BG was already high-key. It would help if you could include your tech specs Desmond. Many thanks!

I am a big fan of high key images and this one worked out perfect. What was she holding?

Thanks for the comments, guys !
I didn't include the exposure details because I didn't think they were meaningful in this case because the original, as I had said, was over-exposed. During post-processing, I reduced the exposure in camera raw by -1.6, +8 "fill light" and +81 "black".
Here's the exposure settings at that time: ISO1000, f5.6 1/640s. Manual exposure mode (as usual) and so I didn't use the comp button.

Stunning image Desmond!
Lovely subject, I don't get tired of them at all!
I don't know if it is me or my monitor but I see a red cast under the wings.

Great eye contact and love the high key. Perhaps a little more room all around? Very sharp and the fish is a nice plus!

I like the angle of flight with great eye contact. This is pin sharp, and love the detail in this.

The bird is holding a fish head, well eaten. Kudos to JC the only one to mention the large red cast... I lalso ightened the underwings a bit.

The EXP details are always relevant as long as you note how you metered...
As for the alleged "over-exposure" there was none. It would be best for images like this to have most of the sky flashing over-exposed so that the bird is properly exposed (as Alfred mentioned above).

Busted :o:(
OK, I did do Applied Image in LAB to warm up the image a bit. The first result I've got I found it a bit cool and so I decided to warm it up. Perhaps a bit too warm :o

Maybe addinmg some yellow would have helped, or better yet, changing the color balance. A red cast is a red cast and is different from warm light....
