Hi Dick - exposure looks pretty good, might just tone down the white spots on the feet, you have caught MR stork at just the right moment before he has flown past you - you have a good HA and nice details underwing.
Not crazy about the position of the foreground wing, did you darken the sky somewhat - the area in the middle of the bill seems to be a lot brighter than the background sky.
Good show - looking forward to seeing more :)

Hi Dick,
I like the capture, agree with Mr. Peters' assessment...I like the sharp eye contact and the position of the bird in frame...looking forward to your next one...

Hi Dick

I like the framing with the foreground tree, makes is it different. Would like a different wing position as noted.

Main thing I see here is the use of shadow/highlight? There is a halo around the bird Did not see the compensation but with all that detail in the under wing and the whites not blown looks like the shadows were dark and were opened up. Best solution for making that image is soft early light ...or strong fill flash which from your distance would have been impossible !!!

I like the nesting material being carried and overall sharpness !!!!

Thanks all for the comments. I am embarrassed by this one as I should have seen the obvious defects. The learning is, do not work on a photo to post when is it late and you are tired, as that is still no excuse.
