Love the action and tight compo, seems a touch soft on my screen, but could be just me.

Like the tight crop. The focus point is definitely behind the head; I would selectively sharpen the head (in particular the eyes) and also lighten the irises a little.

It is true that the focus is in the back and wings, I didn't saw that when I looked at it, good thing to have so many eyes watching, I agree with Doug's suggestion.

A tad soft...but not too bad. When going in close like this, I'd like to suggest to go in really close. I feel this is something in between... the way you framed this still makes me think how it would be with the wings and by framing tighter I think you'd pull off something more special.

Rick, I'm liking this comp and agree that it could use a bit of sharpening around the eye as well. Overall a fantastic image!
