Its only fair to bring Wiley Coyote if I had Beep Beep before This is also from Bosque Del Apache NM a few miles from the area I got the Roadrunner. If you look close he has a meal ... just captured a mouse. Efficient hunter watch him grab a few with few misses !!!

Comments welcome and much appreciated

Beautiful capture and the habitat adds nicely to the image. The mouse is a bonus for both of you!!

Al,
I assume he cannot get the roadrunner, hence the snack?
Nice habitat shot and the earth tones are terrific.
Al, a question please that does not apply to this shot. Can you often tell the difference between the 1.4 and 2.0 TC on the 500MM?

Nice one, I like the uniform color tones, very good feel of the dry habitat.

Hi Jeff If you do an actual pixel comparison I'm sure you can

For practical purposes I don't have a problem using a 2x and using it wide open. I know it is suggested to stop one down etc but lots of time there is not enough light. If you look at Arties bulletin images lots are made with converters wide open.

One question that sometimes comes up is ... is it better cropping or using the converter? I feel the converter is better !!! ... now with the new high megapixel cameras there might be a difference!!!!

.... not sure if Wiley has gone after Beep at the Refuge but having so many easy snacks maybe Beep is safe :)

Love the details you were able to capture even using the 2x. Love the habitat Al.
