Some baby Canada Geese, born last week. It started raining, so they headed straight for Mom.

what a great intimate moment....the natural dependence.
I think a crop showing more in front of the goslings and the parental wing may be better
than all the mama on the right which IMO tales away from the wee ones. A bit tighter even.

any way one looks though, this is a very nice image

This one certainly has the 'aww' factor. :) I like the mood, soft light and details and the goslings look very comfortable. I would like it even better without the green in the lower left.

Love the textures and intimate moment

Fantastic shot, Jackie. I love it! One possible refinement: Darken the background so that cute little fuzzy head stands out more.

this is a bit tight, but more how I see it Jackie......the original is wonderful, just a
different interpretation of the intimacy(quickly done and a bit sloppy).
I think just the small amount of parental wing is enough

Jackie, I think you captured a real tender moment and I just love it! I like what both David Thomasson has done to the BG and Dave Phillips has done with the crop-but the original is sweet! Hope you post more!

Dave's crop stole my critique. Excellent job sir. Did you eliminate the some of the o-o-f green? The crop eliminated several serious problems with this very cute and tender image. Good job with sharpness and EXP. Parallel head angles on the two most prominent goslings would have been great.

I like Dave's crop myself as I also think the stars of this photo are the two baby geese. They are lovely !
