This is the time of year for spring clean-up in the yard. I shot this while doing spring clean-up after a brief shower. That always seems to bring the colors out. I shot this with a Canon 5D, Canon 180 mm lens. The Aperature was F/32, exposure was 1/2 sec and the ISO was 100. No lens filter was used.

Gordon, Nice image! I like the flow leading you out the bottom. The water droplets add significantly to the overall effect and the color is rich without being oversaturated...

Yes, nice comp! Love the water flowing towards the inside of the leaf and the lighting is beautiful. The reason you get such great colors after a shower/rain is because all the pollution is washed down from the air - you literally get all the colors in their full glory so always try to get out after a good rain...it's a great time to photograph!
You have a few very small black "dots" towards the bottom of the frame...probably little specs of dirt on the plant..I'd clone them out and maybe increase the sharpening a bit more on some of the really prominent water drops.

This is a fantastic composition Gordon. Very well 'seen' and photographed. Simply loved those 'flowing' lines (veins) on the leaf. Might sharpen it a bit more I guess.

awesome comp...the large drop near bottom left of center finishes off the visual perfectly IMO.

Leading lines are great, especially with the water drops flowing down them. Great shades of green, also. Keep up the great work.
