There was two of these sparrows feeding on cherry blossoms in my back yard this evening, and I was able to capture several images of this one in the evening light.

Hi Edward Good pose and framing Couple of things to consider Would run a noise reduction program to reduce noise, agree on raising the ISO. Image is a bit soft probably form the low shutter speed. Breast area is a little hot.

Tech wise would have used the lens wide open to gain shutter speed !!

The level of chroma noise in the BG and the plumage really hurts and otherwise fine image, well exposed and with good composition. If you are going to use ISO 1600, you had better usse a good noise reduction program.

nice composition and great bird but I agree with the other comments regarding noise and hot spot on breast area.

Love the bird and the COMP. Ditto the comments above. In addition I would like to see a better head angle.
