This is the guy that we waited for that morning at Savagre! Very low light and messy BG but great bird!
I did have the sense to shoot at 1600 ISO here.

It is a great bird Dan ..... and if you didn't go to the high ISO reciprocity might have come into play :)

Can't imagine a more difficult bird to shoot with that long tail there are few cropping options !!! Glad you got him !!!

What stunning colours and what a looong tail!! Well done on getting it in. I agree with Gus, natural habitat doesn't worry me - looking forward to the next!

Dan, I love the natural habitat myself. Portraits are nice but this is how they are in the wild. Gorgeous bird and great capture. Nice to see the whole bird...long tail and all! Congrats.
