A young Gannet hanging in the strong winds at Bempton cliffs in the UK.

I've already added canvas to the bottom and right of the image but it may need some more on the left :o the wing tip is a tad tight.

Techs: 1/1000 @ F10 EC-2/3 ISO 250
1D MK111 600F4 Tripod @ Gimbal head.

Thanks for looking.

Tony, I like the posture, and the good sharp detail on the head. I would tone down the highlight area on the neck, and agree with your own nit that more space on the left would work.

Cool pose and details, I also like the BG colors and would add more space top, left and right.

Wow - -really great flight shot. The angle is great -- I have had few opportunities to look down on a bird in flight.

Thanks Stuart and Axel, I thought it was a bit too tight.

Scott, I was stood at the top of a 300 foot cliff, at that height you spend most of the time looking down on the birds... :-)

Too good! Great exposure and superb pose and ponit of view! Great BG and colors IMO. a bit more room would help but still, I love it! Big Big congratulations!

Cool capture Tony. Good exposure and pin sharp. I like the feather patterns/colour. Good angle of flight and love the dark blue BG.
