Congratulations Kent Wilson
Fading Memory of Fall

Canon 40D, Canon 100 mm macro
1/3 sec, f/32. ISO 200
Motion blur

I'm afraid that my attempt at an impressionist vision of last Autumn is not successful, since the whites in the birches are blown, but I'd appreciate any comments and suggestions you might have.

The image involved a fair APTATS, quick Mask helped some with that.

Your input is always valued.

I really don't know what to say other than "thanks." When I saw this I just felt really humble.

I owe the people on this web site so much for my development in the craft, that I can;t say thanks often enough. Perhaps my proselytizing to other photographers I meet that this is the best bargain in photography that I know of is small repayment for all that I have been given by being a member here.

Thanks so much for all the critiques and suggestions that helped me improve. Still so far to go, but its the journey (and, of course, the Hokey Pokey) that counts.

Beautiful, Kent! I love the lines that you've created with the trees and also the layers of fall colors. Bet this will make a great print.
