Very nice portrait, I like the details, iridescence and BG. I would remove one of the catchlights. Maybe a bit more contrast?

Super close-up. Agree on removing the one catchlight in the eye. Like the BG and colours on the bird.

Thanks Axel. One catchlight has been removed.

Good looking close up. What do you think about a contrast boost on the bird?

The removed second catchlight improves it as does the contrast boost in Doug's version. You can reply to your own thread and upload the repost. That way people can see what you changed.

Nice portrait. Nice and sharp with a pleasing background. I also agree that the Doug's repost improves the image.

I like the colors and detail you captured along with the profile pose. Together, the two reposts make it even better.

I really like this image.

Especially after Doug's repost.

Can some body tell me which species this one is?

I would be nice to include it since some of us are not familiar with many of the species we see here.

Lovely portrait and compo.

It's a Brown-Headed Cowbird Juan.

Super close up and like the light on the eye. Doug's contrast job has worked well, but still well captured Karl.
