Hi everyone, I'm Micah (Blake's wife)! I made this image on my father-in-law's workshop at Crandon Park, near Miami.

I'm very proud of you, honey ;) You nailed the exposure, and the eye is super sharp. Taking a little bit off the left might be worth a try. Something that everyone may not notice that I really love are the water droplets on his neck. Keep up the good work!

Hi Micah!

I think this is posted in the wrong "Eager to Learn" forum ... I think it belongs in a "Eager to Teach" forum! Nice and sharp, and pleasing. Background looks like a studio.

Hey Squirt,
I remember the light and you did an awesome job keeping your whites white and still holding feather detail.
The placement in the frame is near perfect. The only thing I could offer to improve this image is from a compositional view.
IMO a little more room above this beautiful Ibis' head would make it an even stronger image.

While this image could very easily be posted in the main forum, I suggested it be posted in the "Eager to Learn" forum.
Micah is very new to bird photography. But I wanted others who may be new as well to see the kind of images that can be created, with talent and determination.

Great job!
Love Dad
