I woke up to clear dawn skies and a nice moon this morning, so I grabbed my light birding gear and shot some frames. I hope this is the right board to post moonshots, comments/critiques much appreciated. :)

40D + 100-400 IS + Canon 2x TC, 800 mm, f/14, 1/40 sec, ISO 320
MF via Live View, manual exposure, tripod/geared head/remote switch
RAW, levels/contrast/USM/NR, resized to 50% then cropped.
