One of my favorite shorebirds. I'd been wanting one of these guys in breeding plumage, when I happened on a trio of them in high breeding plumage this morning at Morro Bay. They made me wish I had a 600mm lens ;)

Beautiful work Adrian!
Love details in this one as well as sharpness. Good to hear you had a good time with them.

Great perspective and HA. Yes, the 600mm/4L IS is a killer lens.

There are a lot of things that I wished I had a 600mm lens. LOL. Excellent low angle, and great eye contact Aidan. Love the soft pastel colours in this too.
