Very nice bird in good environment. Wish the head was turned away from you some so the other side of the face and the bill were not obscured. EXP looks pretty good except a small patch on his left breast.
BG pretty neat, the dark spot on the ULC is a bit distracting.

Good comments by Fabs. I just wanted to add that I like the composition. The placement of the birds and environment are pleasing.

You did great with your exposure here, and the detail in the feathers is special. Yes, a little more head turn would have been even better, but sometimes we have to take the best we can get. I really like how the twigs and wildflowers add to the environmental feel of this picture. I would remove the dark spots in the upper left hand corner of the BG b/c other than those spots, the BG is really special. Thank you for sharing.

I am with Marina regarding including the habitat and you incuded it ina na aesthetically pleasing way. I like the sharpish looking flowers in front to the left that add some compositional balance to your image.
