Activity returning to Forsythe

Visited Forsythe last Sunday (4/19) and Egrets are returning along with Herons, Cormorants, and Terns. Still quite a few Brant left also. The Osprey are starting to set up nests. Many Martins were also seen near the visitor center and in the boxes by the field at the entrance to the songbird trail. Things are looking up.

Thanks for the update, Dave! What kind of terns did you see? I've never been at Forsythe and might make a trip there sometime soon.

We were seeing Common Terns, but someone had listed Caspian Terns as being seen the day before.
