Hi Bob, You captured a beautiful time of day. I like the soft light and the mist along with the silouettes. I find the dark reeds in the foreground distracting and not really helping the image either by framing or forming a foreground. If they were taken out I would then crop the image from the bottom up half way to the birds.

Hi Bob,
Dave brings up a very good point on the reeds on the right and the sun isn't that bothersome to me. The ducks/geese are well placed in the frame also. An alternative would have been to include more of the reeds but that would have minimized the birds even more or sooming in a bit more on the birds and exluding the reeds that way.

I like the inclusion of the reeds (though I would have like more of them to really show they were put there on purpose). The soft light and the position of the geese make this a pleasing image Bob.

Thank you all for the feedback! I personally like the reeds, so I added some more of the lr part of the original, and left more of the original glow. Don't know if it helped or not.... but I'm starting to like landscapes.... so ya never know. :D

I do like the addition of the added reeds. Debating the added sky and leaning towards original crop you had there.

There is definitely an art to landscape cropping.... an art I don't know much about yet. :-) Thanks for your help. Bob
