I think it is kind of unusual to see a TV sitting on a post like this. We spotted this one driving into the Everglades. I stopped the car and ran back about 100 yards to position myself to get the image. I really thought the TV would fly away before I had a chance for an image.

This is hand held with my 1DMK2 and 500 F4. ISO was 1000 to try to get a good SS as I was hand holding. Av with f4 and 1/2500. It is also a pretty large crop.

I thought it was interesting anyway.

Thanks for looking. C&C very welcome.

Nice job. The sweeping wings lead my eye right up to the head, which he happened to turn quite nicely for you. Details look good and the overall colors look good together.

I like the soft light. Really brings out the details in the wings.

This guy pops from the BG nicely, and lovely detail on his head. We cant choose their perches, but you got the shot.

Nice! I don't mind the post as I've seen them on those up here too. This one has a "mean" look to it. The vertiacl comp is a good choice. A couple of criss-crossing grasses that I could do without in lower half, but otherwise a very good image.

Very nice full body portrait of an often unappreciated bird. Great compo and good light. Great detail in plumage and head.
