Trying somthing els. No fullframe bird this time bud a lot of space around just a little subject:D;)
Olympus E3, Zuiko ED300 F2.8, Zuiko 2.0 converter, 600mm focuslength, F8, 1/160sec, ISO320, -0.7 stop

This is really an interesting composition, with the counterposed triangles (beak aiming right, log/reflection aiming left). Very nice shot indeed.
One suggestion: Bright patches scattered around the image (especially on the log at far right) pull the eye about and don't bring it to rest. If you re-engineer the light, the viewer's eye will go to the bird. Something like this:

Nice capture in an unusual perch. I like very much except for the head slightly turned away from you.
David's rendition makes a lot of sense.

Thanx fore the comments and i do like the repost a lot. A shame that my skills wih adobe are not that great:)
