I'm not usually a pano crop fan, but I think it best for this one. I like the unique POV on this...Almost as if captured from a plane window. I do think moving the far wingtip back just a bit might help. Perhaps even a touch of S/H.
Canon 1DsMII, 600mm f/4L, f/6.3, 1/2000, ISO 200, manual mode (metered off woodstork on ground and verified by histogram), tripod, evening light. Captured at Bob's mudhole.

The light is a bit harsh for may taste but I like the idea of pano croping in this case Bob. Perhaphs some additionla room would improve the result :-)

I like eye level effect in this, and I feel your pano crop works well for his flying posture. Lovely hint of clouds to enhance the BG. Well captured Bob.

Thanks guys. I agree Juan that the light was less than perfect for this. It really has to be dead-on to pull this shot off I think.
