Crop from Lanscape ~60%, a bit of S/H to capture detail in head, Curves, Modest USM after resizing

Excellent details, eye contact and light. There is a slight S/H halo around the bird. To prevent that you could use the magic wand tool on the BG, invert and then use S/H.

Awesome image Gary, where was it created? I can't imagine what he was looking at, but I can almost hear him saying something like.."Why you young whelp, what makes you think you know anything about anything?" ;)

This is a Wild Female Bald Eagle currently setting nest in Northern Alabama in a Back Water of the Tennesse river. I'm not sure but she was interested in that big White thing (700mm Canon lens) pointed at her. I can assure you I'm no Young "Whelp", I only wish I was!!!:D:D

Gary I love the pose, details and intense stare. I don't recall seeing a pose like this before.
