Taken down by the pier at Lighthouse point on Sanibel Isaland. Shorebirds are wonderful to watch and they travel the beach in search of a meal.

Great pose and eye contact-love the low angle. Nicely composed.

Hi Judy,

I think this is a Black Bellied Plover with nice light and pose but I'm not an expert. Is the horizon a little off?

BBPs are very curious birds, they will spook when you come, but if you settle down, they will come closer than your minimum focusing distance, guaranteed!

Nicely done and yes, it needs some CCW rotation.

Judy,

I really like this one, the pose, the colors, the light, etc.

Maxis has good eyes and I do agree about the rotation, about 3% CCW should do it.

I like the angle, pose and light. I'm not sure that it needs rotation, it seems to be a slope.

What I like is the fact that its on a small layer of moving water, thats neat! The comp, perspective and light are all right on.

Lovely low angle Judy, and well exposed too. The way he is standing, does confirm he's on a slope.
