From northern Scandinavia, on the border between Sweden and Norway.
The last trees grows at 800 meter over the sealevel here.

Beautiful composition Stefan. Like the way the trees are arranged & their apparent diminishing size as the eyes are lead into the frame.
Like the monochrome conversion on this.

Hi Stefan,
Nice job showing scale and very nice texture and light throughout. Rocks and trees balance nicely with the sun. Very nicely composed!

I certainly agree with the comments above. Perfectly arranged elements in the scene impart depth and scale and the trees are a great leading line. Wonderful look and feel and the light is fantastic.

Nothing to add but agree with the above. It has a sense of foreboding, cold, lonely, endless expanse. I can relate to this scene. In the dead of winter here in Maine US, the North East as we say over here, you can feel and see scenes like this up Northern Maine's Western Rangely Lakes to Jackman area. They have more Moose than people. An excellent image!

Great one. Those textures on the snow are glorious. Even the sun shines in a perfect balance. My compliments!!

Really nice, the centered horizon caught my eye for a sec but it works here. A great comp and it invokes a warm feeling in me. Kidding. =) A beautiful place.
