This plant is from the W. Indies but was shot in the Hawaiian Bot. Garden, on the Big Island. If you have the chance to get there do you. It's amazing.
I was attracted to the patterns of the leaves along with the different colors of greens.

Excellent composition. I agree with the comment on seeing more depth in the shadows, but perhaps only selectively on the prominent leaves, leaving the background shadows still dark.

Beautiful! I don't mind the deep shadows, I love the contrast and the detail and composition are both excellent to my eye!
