This image was captured in the Atchafalaya NWR. This is one of my first set for the year. Great to see these guys back in the basin.

C&C welcome.

nice to see "some detail" in the yellow Tim, many struggle with that.
Like the lookback eye contact

Dave, I substracted 15 from the yellows in Hue\Saturation. A lesson learned from my previous images on BPN.

Those yellow's are certainly well exposed, and what a cute little guy.

Tim:

A pretty bird. Nice technicals. I enjoy the small vine winding around the perch, it pulls the color of the background into the perch. It might have been interesting if you could have moved just enough to your left to get all of the bird against the lighter background swath. Not better neccessarily, but might make his beak pop out a bit more.

Thanks for sharing.

Randy

Tim I love the pose and colour on this bird. The perch is a bit large but I'd be very hapy to have this image in my collection.

Thanks everyone for the taking the time to leave comments and suggestions. To get this image, I used a lot of the wonderful suggestions from BPN to improve my previous images that I've posted.
