Spent some time with these easy going eastern Bluebirds this past weekend and came away with a few images.

Nice light and wing position. The eye is sharp and I don't mind a little wing blur. What was the BG?

Super BG and wing pose too. Lovely colors. I don't remember seeing this bird often in posts. I love it!

Pin sharp where it counts, and love the flying posture. I also like the complimentary colours in the BG. Congrats Mike.

Hi Doug, I should have mentioned that... Its on a wide open prairie and it goes on for a long time and slightly downhill away from me.

Good capture, good colors and a complimentary BG too. Just enough wing blur to show motion and ...

Looks like you have a real winner here, Mike! I don't have anything new to add that hasn't already been said several times above. Wish we had some of these birds up here, but we're still in the midst of winter, it seems, with 8 inches of new snow yesterday. :(

Thanks guys! Steve, this snow has got to go away for good! We got about an inch and its melting pretty fast... would like to get a Bluebird image in light snow fall with no wind. :D
