This is the Falls of the Milwaukee River taken last autumn. The river takes on a very greenish cast by this time of the year, but is an excellent spring trout fishing location. Hope you like my image. C and C welcome,I'm here to learn. - John

Love the setting Fishing there would probably give me a sensory overload !! .... btw any idea what causes the cast?

My guess is that it's an algae. We live on about a 4 1/2 to 5 acre pond, and unless we have it treated several times a summer it goes green also. I realize that the river is moving and the pond receives only wind action, but that seems to be the cause. Thanks for your comments. - John

Interesting I was thinking algae also. Most of the time the algae bloom is during the summer as temp increases. Does give it a special shade !!
