Taken at Agua Caliente, AZ earlier this month (spring break). I could have gotten lower but this was an early stop in the day and the ground was covered in crap soo.... it didn't happen but I like the results.

Aperture: f/9
Shutter Speed: 1/250

My monitor at work is not calibrated, but I can clearly see the calibration strip at the bottom here. I feel maybe the darks are just too dark? I adore the purple face and the yellow eye. Such beautiful contrast. Nice positioning in the frame too. :)

Good looking duck Doug !!

Sound reasoning for the angle and not bad since you got the reflection. Water bg looks real good and made a fine exposure ... difficult on these guys. Could have some blacks a Dmin on the breast part but lots of detail on all others. Fine image I like it a lot !!

Hi Doug - love that eye and head angle is good - blacks are close but look ok on my screen.
Id be tempted to crop tighter - pano crop cutting some from the top and bottom - id crop the reflection out.
