Tried a low shutter speed shot,panning,it was a bad light day,this is the results,all comments welcomed,good or bad,thanks.cannon 40d,400mm prime lens,hand held,1/200sec,f5.6,iso800,river calder lancashire uk.

I think it is a tad noisy, and while the idea seems really good, maybe the head is still a bit too soft and there are some halos around it perhaps from the sharpnening. Love those droplets of water, and the blurred wings! :)

I love the bird and the degree of wing blur. The BKGR leaves a lot to be desired. It might have worked much better at 1/30 sec.

As presented, selectively darkening the pupil with a Quick Mask would increase the apparent sharpness.

The idea is great, but a slower shutter speed is needed to blur the background better. Droplets very nice!

thanks for your comments,it was a spare of the moment shot,I saw the bird coming from my left new the lighting was not bright enough decided to try apan shot,Akos,the halos was caused by lighting coming from the right and back,its on the original.thanks.
