From my last day out, I found a whole family of these little guys and created a few images that I'm happy with, here's one :)

I was beginning to think that this species was flightless, as we always see them imaged on the ground. Thanks for clearing that up.

Great eye contact, nice pose, like the framing/composition. Sharp, and the talons are pretty impressive for such a little guy.

Very few issues for me here. Might try lightening the birds left eye just a bit.

Ramon I really, really like this one!! The sky is a nice pastel and you got great detail and sharpness in the subject. The topper is the great eye contact!

Beautiful image. I never saw one in flight with the wings extended! Great eye-contact and details. Love the legs and talons!!

Man, you are happy? I would be over the moon! This is an awesome BIF. So lucky to capture this pose, but your exceptional photographic skills put to use are evident here as well. :)

I'll just echo Akos. This is such a great and no-so-common burrowing owl image. Pretty wing detail and eye contact. Surely something to strive for...

Thats one heck of an image. Borrowing owl in flight and too with full wing spread and eye contact... Fantastic.

Hi Roger, all I can tell you is that the Owl was perched on a no very tall light pole.

Nice exposure Ramon, super capture, I would have tried to lighten the owls left side of face a bit.
