I made this image on a day with thin clouds which resulted in this kind of light. It's been the first time that I got to see and photograph this species. Cropped from horizontal.

Very nice exposure and pose! It may be just me but I would be inclined to crop a little from the top.

Nice exposure, pose and sharpness.
The bird is angled away a bit from us.
I agree with Kevin about a small crop from the top. I also might increase the brightness just a bit, perhaps let the bird pop out from the background a bit more.
Glad you got to see a new one!

Axel, The exposure and pose are great-I haven't been lucky enough to photograph this species. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Axel - exposure and pose are great - agree bird seems slightly angled away, Only thing I would have wished for would be for the eye to be slightly more prominent - IMHO.
