Beautiful image Sid and I like the crop very much. Excellent capture with good detail and eye contact. No nits for me !!

Hi Sid,
beautiful image of a beautiful bird. Two small suggestions from me: try tuning down the exposure 1/3 or 1/2 stop, the colors will probably look even stronger (and the highlights, especially on the forehead, are slightly burned). Also try adding a few pixels on the bottom, if possible.

Hi Sid That is the perfect composition for the bird I would increase the contrast just a tad !!! Beautiful !!!

Great work on the composition, Sid. I'm glad you captured the image you were hoping for ;) It's nice when a subject provides its own background. :)

I love the comp but I think the color seem a bit off... I think some levels ( including coorrecting any color casts; i.e. making sure white is white and black is black) would do some of the things mentioned above... Adding some saturation would also make the colors pop.
