We worked Greyhounds Rock Fredericksburg this past weekend which benefits The Ohio State University Greyhound Health and Wellness Program: http://www.vet.ohio-state.edu/1872.htm
We are always amazed by the people (both human and canine) we meet at this sort of thing.
This is Bosha who is cancer free for over 3.5 years now which is quite remarkable since the surviving one year after the amputation is considered long term for these dogs.
His 'mom' wanted to be in some of the pictures, and this is how she posed on her own with no prompting from me.
There is so much more to this story as we heard it. Bosha's 'dad' had a stroke and is in an inpatient care situation, but lights up with delight when mom brings the dogs to visit even though he can no longer speak their names. The dogs have been a source of strength for the family and the family has certainly done well by the dogs too.
