This image was created at Little Estero last month on Artie's IPT.

The best I can remember, he had flown in, landed at the splash area lower left, hopped to the right and turned to look back to the left. I like the head and wing position, the action of the tail.
All comments appreciated.

I love the action here Randy. The head angle however is what makes this image work IMO. The outstretched wings, waving tail and splash of water make this a dynamic composition. The diagonal of the wings also strengthens the comp. You might want to boost the saturation on the green patch of skin on his face.

Joel:
I did do a bit of saturation work, but it tended to just go darker, rather than more vivid, so I reverted to the original.

Randy, I like the composition very much -The head angle is great. I think the colors look fine. The splash is a plus!

Great wing position, exposure control, details and eye contact. The splash adds to it. I guess you could increase the saturation a few points but it looks fine as it is.

Another vote for more saturation. Great pose, and great caption too :)

Dynamite pose Randy!! Perfect head turn, and both wings are placed just right (but too bad about a few rough primaries on the left wing). You could try the sponge tool selectively on the green lore, set at "saturate" to about 10% opacity (2 passes may be needed).
