This is the third and final image in my Ranunculus mini-series.

Same set up as in the first two - 30D; 150mm Macro; 430 EX w/ softbox; tripod w/ focusing rail.

1/500 sec @ f/3.5; ISO 100; -1/3 EV; FEC -1

These colors are out of this world! I love pink/purple and red together. Excellent job with the BG!

Well composed and executed Ed,
The background colors are superb, and the color rendition on the flower is dead on. I like the diagonal introduction of the flower in frame. You have sharp details, with a good depth of field...good show...:cool:

Excellent once again, my friend! I do think I'd soften the green at the top right of the frame just a bit and tone down the circle of light just below the flower. That would help create a more seamless BG in my opinion and add even more presence to this gorgeous flower.
