This is part of the formal Japanese gardens at Shore Acres State Park in Oregon. The property was once owned by a wealthy lumberman and shipbuilder named Louis B. Simpson. He once owned miles of shore property on prime Oregon coast. The estate included 5 acres of formal gardens and this is part of that. It is open to the public.
