My only question is how do I get this thing to Bosque del Apache?

Nice little lens. Maybe you could ask Artie if you can borrow his trailer truck that he needs for red backgrounds (see his eagle post). :)

Robert, it shouldn't have a problem autofocusing with a 2x TC, as long as you have enough light!
Axel, I saw that image. Spectacular as always. A red background might be nice for a change. My backgrounds are always black!
