Hey Doug... hello from up north! I really like this capture, and the head and eye really pop and provide a strong point of focus in my opinion. Looks like great detail along various parts of the bird, with darker areas being dark where they're supposed to be.

Hope all is well on your end... getting warmer up this way, which means the eagles are moving on but the return of the avocets, etc is well under way.
